"If you see a woman in her Spanx and bra, you never put her business in the street!" The highly-quotable Star Jones regaled a full house of listeners in East Hampton Saturday.
Jones' first novel and third book, Satan's Sisters was written while she was recovering from open-heart surgery. Jones, dressed in a dress covered in a brilliant blue hisbiscus pattern and strappy red satin sandals, read from two favorite chapters in Satan's Sisters: one which takes place in the makeup room of a women's talk show, and one that name-checks New York glitterati at The Four Seasons.
Satan's Sisters is also sexy, because as Jones said of her writing during recovery: "If you can't do it you might as well write about it!"
